Dear Guest Welcome to Our Website Synthetic Island has been created by the group of good friends who are deeply in love with electronic style music often called.... Synthpop While most current popular music in the industrialized world is realized via electronic instruments, synthpop has its own stylistic tendencies which differentiate it from other music produced by the same means. These include the exploitation of artificiality (i.e., the synthesis of sounds from waveforms) where the synthesizers are not used to imitate acoustic instruments, the use of mechanical sounding rhythms, vocal arrangements as a counterpoint to the artificiality of the instruments, and ostinato patterns as an effect. In the end of the 1970s many artists (especially in England), who used synthesizer as their main instrument appeared. For example Gary Numan, Ultravox, OMD and Human League. These artists were very much inspired by Kraftwerk an influential electronic band from Düsseldorf, Germany In the beginning of the 1980s Depeche Mode was formed. They played a happy and sometimes naive sort of synthpop, like their hit single "Just Can't Get Enough" in 1981, until Vince Clarke left the band to form Yazoo (called Yaz in North America) and later Erasure. Depeche Mode's music then became more melancholic and dark. Much darker..... The electronic music has never been so strong and powerful like today. Now our main mission is to bring it back to the British roots and share all those fantastic feelings with you Enjoy Our Parties!
